Sri Sri Tattva along with Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital hosted the prestigious AYURVEDA PARV 2018, a mega event on Ayurveda at Bangalore. Organized by the All India Ayurvedic Congress and supported by the Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi the event will see eminent leaders from government; education and the Ayurveda industry come together to emphasize the holistic wellness brought by Ayurveda. The three day festival began from 16th February 2018.

According to the International Diabetes Federation, by 2030, 8.4% of India’s adult population will have diabetes and this figure is expected to go up to 101.1 million. This statistics present a grim situation and calls for creating awareness at grass root level. Given the gravity of the situation, this year’s symposium is focused on diabetes and will endeavor to create awareness among masses about how Ayurveda will approach the disease to balance sugar levels in the body without causing any health complications. Ayurveda College, Dr. B. R. Ramakrishna (Director of S-vyasa University) addresses the panel to talk about diabetes management. The key attraction was the discussion about the key findings of the advancements attained by Ayurveda in simplifying diabetes management through the research conducted by Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS).
The event also witnessed a workshop on traditional healing techniques by Dr. B.A.Venkatesh, Principal of Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital, followed by varied activities like Ayurveda based competitions for the engineering students and greenhouse exhibitions. Through this event, a number of esteemed Ayurvedic medicine manufacturers will showcase their products. The event will also address the lifestyle challenges faced in the modern world and how Ayurveda can help overcome these. Additionally, the event will also have free health check-ups, diabetes treatments and holistic healthcare guidance program for consumers. The event will further impart knowledge and reading material on Ayurvedic plants and home remedies along with skill development workshop.
